Today marks an incredible milestone for Credo AI as we take a bold step forward in our mission to bring trustworthy AI to the enterprise. We are thrilled to announce that Credo AI has officially launched its integration with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry. This beta release is an achievement that underscores our commitment to making responsible AI governance scalable, actionable, and deeply embedded into the fabric of AI development.

For the first time, governance teams will be able to receive structured, validated technical evidence linked to each use case, while developers are empowered with code to run evaluators—like groundedness, hallucination detection, and bias checks—directly within their workflow.

This collaboration, first unveiled during Microsoft Ignite in November 2024, is a pivotal moment in our journey. The collaboration is designed to address one of the most significant barriers to enterprise AI adoption: the gap between technical development and AI governance. By collaborating with Microsoft, we are building a bridge where governance lives side-by-side with AI development, enabling faster, safer, and more trustworthy AI innovation.

Bridging the Gap Between AI Developers and AI Governance Teams

AI incidents have been on the rise, with a 56% year-over-year increase according to the 2025 Stanford AI Index Report. This surge underscores the urgent need for robust governance that can be seamlessly integrated with technical development. Historically, governance teams have struggled to interpret evaluation results without the technical context, while developers have lacked clarity on emerging AI governance standards. This misalignment not only slows AI innovation but increases the risk of compliance failures and business alignment concerns.

Our integration with Azure AI Foundry directly addresses this challenge by pioneering a seamless connection that transforms policy goals into actionable, code-level evaluations, reducing friction and accelerating the AI lifecycle from R&D to deployment.

Operationalizing Policy-to-Code Translation

One of the standout features of our integration is its ability to turn abstract governance policies into concrete, actionable steps. By leveraging Credo AI Governance platform’s automated mapping to specific policies and evaluation requirements, developers can ensure that their AI systems are built not just for performance but for business context, compliance and trust. This alignment accelerates AI adoption, reduces the burden of alignment and approvals, and creates a measurable path from governance requirements to deployment.

The benefits of Credo AI’s integration with Azure AI Foundry:

  • Governance-ready artifacts: Governance teams receive structured, validated technical evidence tied to each AI use case, ensuring that evaluations are not only thorough but aligned with global regulations and standards.
  • Developer-driven compliance: Developers are empowered with ready-to-run evaluators (like groundedness, hallucination, bias) to ensure their development process is aligned with AI governance and business objectives
  • Real-time insights: Evaluator results automatically flow back into the Credo AI platform, linking risk insights directly to governance workflows- providing a single system of record for governance teams to track, audit, and manage risk insights. These tight integrations reduce compliance bottlenecks, which traditionally slow down AI deployment.

With Azure AI Foundry models now governable within the Credo AI Platform, enterprises can:

  • Achieve faster AI adoption with contextual risk insights.
  • Maintain end-to-end compliance visibility aligned with global standards such as the EU AI Act, NIST RMF, and ISO 42001.
  • Make smarter investment decisions based on governance readiness and risk-adjusted ROI.

Building the Future of Trustworthy AI

The early response from our partners and clients has been overwhelmingly positive. Pilots with select Global 2000 enterprises are already demonstrating faster model approval, enhanced collaboration across governance and technical teams, and accelerated time-to-value for high-risk AI initiatives.

This collaboration is not just a step forward for Credo AI and Microsoft—it’s a step forward for trustworthy AI innovation worldwide. Together, we are proving that governance and speed are not mutually exclusive. Rather, they are co-enablers of sustainable AI innovation.
