Today, QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey, announced a strategic alliance with Credo AI, a global leader in AI governance software. Together, Credo AI and QuantumBlack will provide McKinsey clients with tailored solutions to support the Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance for AI and Generative AI.

The era of Generative AI promises immense value for enterprises, yet it also introduces significant risks. McKinsey's recent research revealed that 63% of organizations view the implementation of Generative AI as a top priority, yet 91% feel ill-prepared to navigate its challenges responsibly. To remain competitive and relevant in the age of GenAI, enterprises must understand the potential impact of this technology and formulate strategies to adopt and scale it responsibly.

Recognizing that the complexities of AI governance transcend the capabilities of any single organization, alliances have become a key strategy for QuantumBlack, which has built an ecosystem of growing strategic alliances that deliver distinctive solutions for its clients, which now includes Credo AI for AI Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance.

“Together with Credo AI, we are thrilled to provide our clients with AI governance solutions that enable the safe, responsible, and ethically sound adoption of AI and generative AI at scale,” says Liz Grennan, Partner, McKinsey. “At QuantumBlack, we see trust as key to our clients’ ability to realize the full potential value of AI in a manner that's both responsible and trusted."

The QuantumBlack and Credo AI alliance will help clients:

  • Accelerate AI adoption by providing organizations with a comprehensive approach to proactively monitor, manage, and mitigate risk with Generative AI technologies, enabling them to unlock new opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance at every stage of the AI lifecycle, for both ML and GenAl, as well as third-party applications. This includes navigating regulatory changes and technological advancements, ensuring long-term sustainability and success.
  • Operationalize AI Governance, from principles to practice, serving organizations across industries and geographies to standardize and scale AI governance across fragmented and emerging LLMops and MLops ecosystems.
"At Credo AI, we recognize the importance of governance in unleashing the full potential of AI and Generative AI technologies," said Navrina Singh, Credo AI Founder & CEO. "Our alliance with QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey represents a new way of supporting AI innovation within organizations by  implementing  AI governance, risk management, and compliance, paving the way for responsible AI & GenAI adoption."

The alliance between Credo AI and QuantumBlack represents a significant step forward in advancing responsible AI governance and innovation. Both organizations are poised to drive positive outcomes for businesses and society, shaping a future where AI benefits all. Credo AI looks forward to working together with QuantumBlack to advance the operationalization of GRC (Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance) to empower innovation in AI.

Credo AI’s alliance with QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey comes on the heels of a number of company announcements including being named to Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2024, the company’s new AI for GRC product offering, and a recently announced partnership with Databricks.
