Today, the World Economic Forum announced its Technology Pioneers 2022 honorees, the organization’s annual acknowledgement of start-up and growth-stage companies with the potential to significantly impact business and society through new technologies.

And we are honored that Credo AI has been designated as one of this year’s Technology Pioneers.

This is a significant achievement for a number of reasons. First, the Forum is a respected global organization focused on improving the state of the world by engaging multi-stakeholder from business, government, political, academic, research and other backgrounds. Its recognition of our mission and accomplishments to date solidifies our status as a catalyst for change on the world stage.

The Forum has long been known for encouraging public-private cooperation on countless critical issues. Its community of Technology Pioneers furthers this mission as it provides Credo AI and other innovative companies with a platform to engage with public- and private-sector leaders as we seek to put into action new solutions for overcoming vexing crises or pursuing opportunities for positive change.

Plus, as a Technology Pioneer, we will embark on a two-year journey that enables us to be a part of numerous World Economic Forum initiatives, activities and events, giving us access to cutting-edge insights and fresh thinking from world-critical discussions involving like-minded organizations seeking to make a real difference.

And we are making a real difference. AI is automating the systems that shape our lives but this requires those who create and deploy AI to weigh its risks and benefits to ensure that AI solves problems and doesn’t create new ones. Credo AI exists to ensure there is responsibility and accountability throughout the lifecycle of AI development and implementation. Technology Pioneers is a great recognition of our bold endeavor, our quest of improving and transforming our world through responsible and trustworthy AI technology.

We are on an exciting journey, and our recognition by the Forum as a Technology Pioneer 2022 marks another significant milestone in the development of Credo AI. We believe that today’s pressing problems can be solved by building a better future across sectors and boundaries. Hence we look forward to engaging with our fellow “pioneers” and embarking on new opportunities within the expansive World Economic Forum ecosystem – which features individuals and companies who share the common goal of seeking and making positive change.

These are exciting times for Responsible AI … and for Credo AI.
