Credo AI is seeking a highly motivated and strategic SaaS sales director in our journey to address the world’s biggest challenges in operationalizing Responsible AI.

About the Role

Credo AI is seeking a highly motivated and strategic SaaS Senior Sales Director in our journey to address the world’s biggest challenges in operationalizing Responsible AI. You will be our first traditional sales hire, responsible for driving software sales to Global 2000 accounts. You will excel at building great relationships with VP and C-Suite prospects in order to methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales funnel and pipeline. Reporting to the Head of Revenue Operations, you will play an integral role in building out the company’s sales team and in driving Credo AI’s success, with a clear path to developing into our Head of Sales.

Role Responsibilities Include

The Senior Sales Director is responsible for driving sales of Credo AI software and services globally. In collaboration with the Head of Revenue Operations, this role will manage the sales process including active prospecting, qualification, evaluation, close and account care to help customers realize the business value of our partnership and offerings in Responsible AI. This is a quota-carrying sales position.

  • Execute sales plans and meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Define and effectively communicate the vision of Credo AI’s solutions and gain alignment with customers and prospects
  • Build relationships with VP & C-Suite prospects in order to methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales funnel and pipeline
  • Provide presentations, product demonstrations and general support to prospects and customers
  • Execute a land-and-expand sales strategy with well thought-out SaaS enterprise sales strategies
  • Manage and track customer interaction, prospecting, pipeline, forecast and transactional information in a CRM system
  • Be the “trusted advisor” to the customer by understanding their existing and future ML/AI roadmap to drive Credo AI solutions
  • Collaborate with marketing on joint thought leadership, product and partnership opportunities with customers
  • Work cross-functionally to provide feedback and input to the wider Credo AI organization based on customer needs and priorities

Our Expectations

You should be highly-driven and creative with an execution focus, a strong sense of urgency and a track record of consistently exceeding objectives selling B2B enterprise software. A history of selling predictive analytics, or AI-enabled solutions is a bonus. Credo AI is looking for analytical thinkers comfortable with applying analytics to complex problems. Optimally, you also understand early-stage companies and the need to work as a team for everyone to be successful. You know there are never enough resources and every day presents a challenge. You thrive on “building it yourself” and the satisfaction it brings. You are excited about Credo AI’s mission to ensure that AI is in service of humanity.

  • Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new customer relationships
  • Track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement
  • Proven history of leading large, complex projects and SaaS sales cycles
  • Experience with complex solution selling / diagnostic selling approach
  • Experience working closely with C-level / SVP-level executives across technical and business roles
  • Experience working with channel partners in joint sales opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent listening and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Experience in Responsible AI, Machine Learning, or AI consulting preferred
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, global team
  • Ability to work independently and from a remote location
  • Ability to travel as needed
