Credo AI is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) in our journey to address the world’s biggest challenges in operationalizing Responsible AI through AI Governance.

About this position

Credo AI is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) in our journey to address the world’s biggest challenges in operationalizing Responsible AI through AI Governance. You will play a critical role in our outbound sales process by qualifying leads and setting up meetings for our Account Executives. You will be responsible for researching and prospecting new leads, creating and managing email campaigns, scheduling appointments, and managing discovery calls with potential clients.

Role Responsibilities Include

  • Researching potential customers in Credo AI’s target market and identifying those who would be a good fit for our product. 
  • Reaching out to potential customers via phone, email, or other communication channels to introduce Credo AI and gauge their interest in learning more.
  • Qualifying leads to determine if they are a good fit for Credo AI. This involves asking questions to understand the customer's needs and pain points, as well as their budget and decision-making authority.
  • Setting up initial sales meetings with the account executive or sales team
  • Managing and updating customer data in Credo AI’s CRM system, ensuring that all customer interactions are recorded accurately.
  • Create and manage email campaigns to nurture leads and keep them engaged with our company in partnership with Marketing. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute outbound campaigns designed to increase sales inquiries, first meetings, opportunities and bookings. 
  • Assist in sales pipeline-building activities including attendance at live and/or virtual trade shows and industry conferences, working with marketing/partners on webinars, events, and other activities specified by RevOps. 

Our Expectations

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 

- At least 2 years of experience in sales or business development in a SaaS company, preferably in the AI space. 

- Strong intellectual curiosity, especially around being able to map business problems to systems that leverage machine learning. 

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, and comfortable talking to all levels of customer teams, from individual contributors to C-level executives.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

- Familiarity with HubSpot CRM and other sales tools (e.g. Outreach, ZoomInfo, etc.). 

- Knowledge of the AI industry and/or AI regulatory compliance is a plus.
